Faculty lateral migration modification

The case documents were only being copied to the new cloned case for non-live cases. This will now copy them for all cloned cases.

Lex SharePoint tab - 'Upload Folder' option not working

Due to a change with the third-party functionality we had to change the code on our side to align. 

‘Upload Folder’ option now working as expected.

Un-restrict URN Field

Added System Options → Case Options → General Settings → Always Show Case URN.

If checked, the Case URN field always shows, otherwise it only shows for Criminal type or CPS funding type, as before.

If the Grad Fee Options → Enable URN Field Popup option is enabled, then the cases URN field shows a button to open multiple URNs popup (as before).


New feature

Ability to set default "Uplift Type" on case CFA tab

Added System Options → Fee Options → CFA Options → Default CFA Uplift Type.

New CFAOverview rows get set to this value, if set. Note that Invoicing cases default the uplift type to ‘Don’t auto uplift’, as before.

Increase document upload limit

Limit increased to 2GB, which is maximum allowed value

Case override email merge field issue

The [CONTACTTITLE] merge field for a Contact Case Override now displays the group member display name, not the raw code.

'Change status' popup in cases overlaps the options if there are multiple barristers

Style fix applied to add scroll bar when multiple barristers are on a case. Buttons are no longer hidden behind an overlap.

Calendar now opens in correct location without covering further options

Information barrier icon not displaying on case screen

Padlock icon (red for information barrier and orange for internal barrier) now displays overlaying the briefcase icon on Case screens when Information Barriers are enabled.

I have updated the Document Selector and Number Of Copies field widths to no longer be restricted. They are now full width.

This is due to subject length exceeding maximum number of characters.

Diary Month View - displays holiday appts for another barrister

This was caused by the Holiday/Sick/Maternity/Out of Office day headers not being cleared between barrister changes on the month diary view.

They now clear, like the appointments data already does.

Using quick date picker in the diary now retains the previous view when loading the date

New Workflow forecast - Cases appearing in results where barrister has workflow chasing disabled

Barristers and Companies with a Disable Workflow flag checked are now ignored from the New Workflow Forecast.

Remove 'Learning Centre' from the system

Learning Centre removed from the system and all options. This is to be replaced with a new Knowledge Base containing videos, guides, walkthroughs and release notes.

Style fix applied and panel now displays correctly

Record Anonymisation and Print Document Return Labels now open popups rather than breaking the styles.

Barristers are able to search other barristers from the classic dashboard

The Barrister search button now only shows if:

  • the user isn’t a Barrister, and

  • their Security Role(s) has permission to Search Barristers

Other search buttons should be dependent on the respective Security Role(s) permissions.

Amended wording to now say Barrister Sex and Barrister Same Sex As At Birth instead of Barrister Gender and Barrister Gender Same As At Birth.

Error opening Aged Debt report for barristers

Barristers can now click the Aged Debt, Payment Summary, Work Done and Work Done Enhanced report shortcut buttons without a problem.


New feature

Request for the Systems Options > Reporting Options 'Hide Commission Total' to be added to report options

Added Hide Commission Total to the following report options:
BAS (Verdict only), Disbursements (Verdict only), Barrister Performance, Month End Summary, Payment Summary, Taxation.

This option defaults to the System Options → Reporting Options → Payment Summary Options → Default Hide Commission Total value. 

Existing Saved Reports have that option set to the default system option value.


New feature

Option to exclude case from CNS (Court News Service) report

Added Case Details → Exclude From CNS Report checkbox.

If checked, the case no longer appears in the Court News Service/Court Listing Reports' exports.

DoW Report - Change Term "Sample" to "Cohort"

Changed the DoW column header from ‘Sample’ to ‘Cohort’.

'Load Settings' option within saved reports does not load fields correctly

Saved Reports tab now selects the correct report.

Work Done Enhanced Report - Hours Worked calculating incorrectly

This was caused by a copy and paste error, it’s now fixed. The Hours Worked on the WDE export no longer accumulate, they show correctly for each barrister on the totals page.

XFC Payments/Commission not showing up in the Payment Summary XFC popup

Fixed, so that the popup shows payments and commission regardless of the Include Extended Analysis or Add Accounting Tab report option checkboxes.

XFC Error management

Added Reporting → XFC Errors tab, with Payments, Payment Commission, Liabilities and Liabilities Commission menu items on the left that allows resyncing of errored items.

These can then be sent to Xero again.

XFC - System Option for generating payments for specific users

Added System Options → Admin Config → Xero For Chambers → XFC Users

Only users added to this list will have XFC functionality available

Added payment date to the description for XFC lines.

XFC - system option for commission/rent only

Added:

  1. System Options → Admin Config → Send XFC Payment Invoices and

  2. System Options → Admin Config → Send XFC Rent/Commission Invoices booleans.

  3. The above options default to ticked (so all types of invoices are sent to XFC by default, as previously).

  4. If both are ticked, XFC performs almost as before, the only difference is on the fee grid - Payment and Commission sending is recorded separately, and so there’s a (very small) chance one will error and the other not, so there could be two XFC blobs on the payment row.

  5. If only Rent/Commission Invoices is ticked, then only Commission and Rent show in the Xero Invoices popup, and are sent to Xero.

  6. If only Payment Invoices is ticked, then only Payments, Payment Cancellations and Carter Liabilities show in the Xero Invoices popup, and are sent to Xero.

  7. I have also removed the XFC Emailing code and options as they are now obsolete.
