User Security Profiles
The security profiles for each security role (e.g. Clerk, Barrister, Administrator, Fees Clerk etc.) can be amended by Opus 2 LEX when required. The information below is designed to show the flexibility of each security role within LEX. Within each area of the system, LEX gives you the ability to restrict the visibility as well as the option to edit data within each field.
The example below shows the access a barrister has to an appointment. The barrister is able to create an appointment (restricted only to Bar Note and Web Note in this example) but wouldn’t be able to edit the Hearing Type or Conference Type.
The below example shows which search grids the barrister has access to within LEX.
The below example shows a list of all dashboard widgets and allows us to determine which widgets a security group has access to. For example, the Financial Summary and Payments widgets may be selected for a particular group e.g. Fees and Administration but unavailable to other user groups.
By selecting a particular security group (e.g. Barrister) from the drop down menu on the left, you can determine who has access to which sets of reports and chambers information.
