Welcome to LEX V11


It is now imperative to transition to LEX V11, wherein we have commenced our endeavour to modernise the styles within LEX, accompanied by a more systematically organised menu amongst other new features.

The Freshdesk platform is an online cloud-based customer service ticketing software. The Freshdesk platform will be used to log and respond to support-related enquiries for the Opus 2 Chambers (LEX) software

Pendo will help us understand and analyse end users’ specific requirements, preferences, and features usage, to enabling us to enhance the user experience by delivering relevant user guides and training materials within the software.  This integration will enhance our customers and their end users' ability to utilise the Opus 2 Chambers (LEX) software more effectively


Distribution of Work Reporting

The objective of this report is to provide Chambers with readily accessible data from which they can easily identify ‘anomalies’ in the allocation of work compared with the make-up of Chambers across several protected characteristics. Click for more information Distribution of Work.

Xero for Chambers

Integrate Opus 2 LEX payment summary data to a chambers instance of Xero to -

  • Automatically create supplier bills on behalf of barristers showing each payment received for payment via Xero batch payment options
  • Calculate rent and commission values to create sales invoices from chambers on behalf of each barrister for collection via Xero direct debit features
  • Reconcile all payments and receipts via Xero bank feed and reconciliation features
  • Store invoice batches for audit purposes


Directory Submissions (not yet available for demo)

Manage submissions to Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories -

  • Collate Opus 2 LEX barrister details into Opus 2 LEX Directory Submissions module without rekeying by making cases Notable in Case Details
  • Utilise category lists for Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directory submissions that are updated for each submission season
  • Add referees and other contacts to the Contact Info page in LEX Cases to utilise in Directory Submissions module
  • Allow barristers to add to their submissions online and securely
  • Manage all submissions using search features and monitor progress using status updates
  • Create form batches and referee spreadsheets in required formats
  • Store submission history for each year
