Use the live timer built in to LEX to record your times. Pause and restart as needed and edit before submitting to the clerks for billing.

Generating and Reviewing Reports

The example below gives an overview of generating an Aged Debt report in LEX. The same process applies to all other reports so after this walkthrough, you should be able to generate any report within LEX.

Xero Integration Overview

For Xero users, the integration between LEX and Xero can significantly reduce the administrative burden associated with managing payment data across multiple applications.

Benefits of Integration

  • Automatic and secure syncing of payments entered into LEX with your Xero account.

  • Eliminates the need for manual export and import of payment data between Lex and Xero.

How It Works

  1. Enable the integration between Lex and Xero.

  2. Sync your Barrister record in LEX with your Xero account.

  3. Process payments in LEX as usual.

  4. Payments will automatically sync to Xero without additional actions required from Clerks.
